The idea of "Adventures with Ted" was inspired in 2017. He was created to invoke a positive outlook on disability issues. Humor is infectious as well as healing. Humor breaks down barriers and sensitivities that people might have toward disability. Within the comic world, there is no representation like Ted. He is able to laugh at himself. Through humor, Ted has a unique vision on different social commentaries in relation to disability issues.
