As far as the people of the Great City are concerned, Smog is a monster. Or at least, that's what they would think, if they ever found out that she is what they would call a Parasite, born outside the walls of the Great City. For now, she can get by as one of the King's mages, sworn protectors of the city from said Parasites outside the wall, some of whom truly are the monsters humanity thinks they are.
