In post-apocalyptic world, the humanity almost wiped out by a mysterious virus called the Ashfall Virus, which mutated all life, into Echobeasts. The world collapsed into ruin and silence, marking the end of civilisation. A masked ex-EDU officer Hyoge Tanaka who travels around the wasteland with his K9 unit Dagger and Chloe Kim, a young deaf survivor who wanders alone in a ruined city. They pursue on their journey for adventure and find the cure to save the world.
