After a period of darkness where colonized planets live in isolation, light-years of travel separating them, a faster than light space ship appears. The technology thought lost since the death of Earth, humanity reunites and rejoices in a new golden age but this gold will tarnish. Planetary forces conspire to capture or copy the Blazer's technology.
