Beit's facing death at the hands of her own people if she doesn't complete one simple task: Kill an innocent person on a designated planet. However, she lands on the wrong planet; one that has not had contact with the universe beyond. After meeting one of the natives and finally finding a place where she feels she belongs, things rapidly begin to fall apart as they all realize that Beit's people will stop at nothing to take all land for themselves.
