Celine's death was something no one could've predicted, not even the Gods themselves. Having left too early, they decided to give her another chance at life- as long as she follows their rules. One of which includes: becoming Death. And the other, watching over her best friends as they navigate college without her. And when looking back at her contract- being Death seems to be the easiest part of it all.
