A story in a post apocalyptic futuristic fantasy world about two siblings Alison and Evelyn who live on a walking city one of many in this world, in a world where ocean and land have become one the siblings struggle to survive just scraping by. One day their city is attacked and Alison falls off the city, he becomes grounded. How might he survive on the ground with many monsters, creatures, other grounders and the constant threat of being squished by a walking city? what will Alison do next?
