this story is about two girls who grew up together and April one of these friends falls in love with her other friend Lavender. They have been friends for 9 years and its the last day of school (there not graduating) but after the school day April invites Lavender over and confesses to her. She says yes and they go tell there parents but Aprils mom has a surprise (family complications) this makes April happy and sad and her and her new Girlfriend go visit... that will be book two... :)
