It all begins when an angel, forced to commit a violent act against a demon, is cast out of heaven and left to wander the mortal world. Meanwhile, Alexandra, a high schooler plagued by insomnia, finds her night interrupted by the sudden appearance of a demon. In a moment of impulsive curiosity (and perhaps exhaustion), Alexandra agrees to be possessed by the demon—only for both to realize he has no idea how to reverse the process. Now stuck sharing a body, Alexandra and the demon (nicknamed Alex) must figure out how to navigate daily life without drawing attention. Their awkward partnership is immediately put to the test: from explaining away a mysteriously red eye to Alexandra’s dad, to the comic disaster of learning to ride a bike for the first time. At school, things get stranger when a mysterious girl approaches them, hinting at knowledge of their secret lives.
