Kill Joy is an ancient vampire set on preserving her survival whilst maintaining public image. When Maddie “Mad” a fan, introduces herself, KillJoy becomes fascinated by Maddie's willingness to serve and please her. In a moment of haste, Kill Joy bites Maddie, beginning her transition into becoming a vampire, but is too enthralled by her to let her die. Maddie lives to witness her soul become subservient to that of her new Mistress and aids her in her dark deeds.
