13 people go in, only one comes out. The goddess of reality, Vesper, has become bored with causing the general evil in the world and no one doing anything about it. So, she decides to take 12 people with pure hearts (and an extra one to be an example) and weed them out until one remains. The last person standing will become her arch nemesis and fight her for all eternity or at least until they die.
