Solarpaw, and some friends, have just been made apprentices. Meanwhile, tensions start to rise in the clans as unfortunate circumstances and a strange prophecy allude to the clans time of peace coming to an end. Battles and interpersonal conflict arises, and relationships get messy as our protagonists try and figure out what this strange prophecy might mean.
