A messy, chaotic story of fiery teenagers in a gloomy little town. Desmond is an arrogant, broke, small-town nerd fueled by ambition. He is determined to attend university and build a new life in the big city. While scrambling to earn enough money to chase that ideal future, he ends up with Ludwig as his new roommate, who is not exactly an ordinary human.
