2008, Malibu, California. A group of friends includes Isa (Isabella), a cheerful and carefree Brazilian girl, and Ruby, a serious and outstanding student at a peculiar university that trains young spies. Despite the university's strict rules, the two become close, sneaking out for their “girls' nights,” or so they say. But Ruby struggles with her sexuality and her feelings toward Isa.
