Amber goes to a high school with half breeds, half animal, half human. Their personality and looks reflect the animal they were born as, but Amber begins to notice that she is not like the other kids. She is a cheetah, but her brute force and weight do not reflect one. She has a semi-bald spot on her head that doesn't grow and hair longer than 3 inches. Amber soon learns that she is Something Different, and she has a lot of questions.
