Still Learning to Stay is inspired by real events. After surviving illness and a devastating betrayal, she begins to believe she is walking misfortune—that every connection she forms is destined to break. One betrayal leads to another, leaving her fearful of trust and burdened by her past. When a new man enters her life, offering hope without asking her to look back, she hesitates, afraid that choosing again will only cause more damage. Yet in her uncertainty, she wonders whether a small step forward might be enough to change the direction of her life.
