For his birthday, Denki picks out a ball python that he names Rai. To his surprise, it’s very intelligent; and can talk! He researches and finds a believed-to-be myth called “Storm Snakes.” There are multiple Storm Snakes, each with unique storm-related powers. Denki needs to learn how to use this power, but has to overcome obstacles. Not only must he keep this power hidden to ensure Rai’s safety, he has to make sure the other powerful ball pythons don’t end up in the hands of the wrong person.
