This is a story that goes back before the beginning. "The Betta's" are the 7 Heavenly Virtues and are the Archangel's of Heaven. Michael is the Commander while Gabrielle (aka Gabriel) is 2nd in Command. They battle the 7 Deadly Sins throughout time in a never ending battle for the souls of humanity. The Betta Chronicles storyline are standalone issues and do work together throughout the series.
