Stanley Conrad is a magician, a pulp novelist, and a rebel. It’s the 1920's, and enigmatic alien entities have conquered Earth and forbidden all human magic. With assistance from Ed, his bruiser of a buddy, Stanley defends his species by smuggling medicine, battling cults, or crafting illegal spells to restore shattered minds. Each spell or operation risks the deadly attention of humanity’s new overlords, but Stanley and Ed will not surrender.
