Elias Cyrano is many things - a poet, a fighter, his own worst enemy - but he's also a good friend. Which is why, when his best friend Roxanne falls for the new guy at the bar they work at, he takes on the role of the go-between at her behest. It's just his luck that Christian is just another dumb jock, the kind Elias was sure he'd left behind in high school. Nothing but just an (admittedly) very pretty face. Oh, and their boss is corrupt. And they're the only ones who can stop him. What fun.
