Earth hasn't been the same since a mysterious series of cosmic phenomena from 1985, called The Quantum Pandora. One of its notable effects involved a diverse number of individuals who experienced anomalous genetic mutations. Years later, they bear offspring with supernatural properties in their genome that would either be a gift or a curse.
