In the fall of 1948, a crop dusting pilot loses control of his plane and is swallowed by a great cloud. He awakens in a place entirely unfamiliar. His vessel crippled and sunk into a grey cloud, he must carefully venture out into this quiet and delicate world to discover whatever strangeness and mystery slinks in the ever-changing landscape. His story is told primarily through his often tender and abrupt journal entires.
