In the hidden places of Ethra, dragons slumber, secluding themselves from mankind after their defeat in The Great Dragon war two-hundred years ago. The war would have destroyed civilization if the races of Ethra hadn’t united together and defeated the dragons. Now that unity is shattered and wars are fought over territories and resources. Hidden away from the fighting, a father and daughter live in the Shünmar Mountains, living off the land. Rojan ask his daughter, Sacara, to do the Rite of the Cold Hunt, and earn her place as an adult among her people. As she sets out on the hunt, the dragon under the mountain wakes from a nightmare and discovers that his nightmare is a monster from another realm! These monsters only have one desire: to feed.
