TRIGGER WARNINGS: Domestic violence, sexual assault. The Stories we share is the result of an Advocacy Project for a Human Rights course. The story centers around characters in a group therapy session at differing stages of the recovery process. The first story is of Annabelle, and focuses on abuse in a first time relationship and coming to acceptance years on. The second story centers around Jono, and focuses on the experience of domestic violence in a LGBTQ+ relationship.
