Brin, a skittish knight bearing the crest of the wolf, is captured during a border skirmish. Amaya knows the crown will pay good money for the knight's safe return. The journey to the capital is a long one, and the two of them begin to get to know each other as they face the cross-country travel - after all, it's just business.
