Something I’m really trying to work on right now is my perfectionism. Each page of Roundhouse or Devil May Care can take anywhere between 15 and 25 hours to fully complete, and that’s not even factoring in the writing of them. So as an experiment I’m going to try and do a one-shot comic where I’m only allowed to spend two hours on each page. Real roughshod rendering, y’know?

This story is titled ‘Fright and Ning’. It’s about a little girl trapped in the realm of children’s nightmares. She (Ning) must hack and slash her way through every creature the world can throw at her, alongside her lawful good companion (Fright).

The pictures of them here took a little less than ten minutes each to complete. Gonna try and go for a more Cartoon Network approach to the style. Really keep it simple. Who knows? I might learn something.
